Is this good, is my friend going to be okay?

My friends dad beat her... really really bad. and she's in the hospital, and she was in there for a few days and still hasn't 'waken up.' but, today i was there, and the beep thing was going really fast. what does that mean? The doctors said she doesn't look good and that she lost a lot of blood and stuff, but do you think this is a good thing? Is she going to be okay?
