What can I expect for 12 month appointment?

i think your doctor is wrong.. at my sons 9 month app, he wasnt waving but he was crawling. All babies progress differently and boys usually take longer than girls to learn things. My son is almost 12 months now and he still doesnt wave. and i don't know the average age that babies should be doing certain things, but your baby sounds completely normal to me. Don't let the doc get you down because it honestly doesn't sound like he knows what he is talking about.
