Is a Constitutional Monarch better than an Absolute Monarch? What's your opinion and why?

I have an essay to write on contrasting these two forms of government and why the other one is better. To be more specific, I'm talking about the Constitutional Monarch that started in England, the Absolute monarch of Spain (Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand's time) and France's Absolute monarchy (Louis XIV's time). I think that the Constitutional Monarch is better for some reason? But I'm not sure why. Please just give me YOUR opinion and why it is better. Thanks a lot. :D
